A Letterman Jacket To Cheer For

My wardrobe is more extensive than it needs to be, there's something to be said for a fashion cleanse and minimalism is never out however, I am not sorry for the amount of jackets I own. One thing you need in England (even in those long, *not so* hot summer nights), is a jacket. Some are nice and light and others are thicker than my blankets put together but none of them have been left in a corner to dust over.
Cue my latest addition to the jacket family.

&Other Stories Motel Cocktail Jacket
Styled with a pair of baggy 'mom' jeans personalised with homemade embroidery but originally bought at New Look with the intent of being cropped straight jeans (being 'Petite' is no cup of tea, it's an espresso kind-of-life), a pair of Nikes I actually do use to run in, a messy greenish bun and Karl Lagerfeld glasses, this jacket fit in perfectly.

The embroidery is stunning and the price tag matched it but a 70% sale in my favourite store meant that even this pauper post-grad girl could get in on the action. It doesn't even look half bad with my sketchbook either, maybe I can even make sure my uni books fit in too?

Valentino Embroidered satin bomber jacket £3,000
Sure, it isn't 100% pure silk like this Valentino and the embroidery isn't made out of hand-sewn beads but the style is very similar and the quality isn't a joke either. Safe to say, I'm set for Autumn.
